I had another nightmare last night... One of those ones where you wake up right before you die.

I've had a lot of nightmares since ~~making friends with assassins and terrorists~~ ~~finding out my family is made of terrible people~~ joining the community. I wonder if that's normal.

I could easily argue the point that it is my fault: I did follow this path when I might have turned away.

But you've never done anything bad to me. I don't have any good reasons to be afraid.

One every... couple of nights, I guess. But I have lots of dreams in a night, so it isn't as bad as it sounds.

That's quite flawed logic there, I must say.

Bad enough. Unfortunately, dreams are hardly my area of expertise.

You don't have anything to get out of it. It's a foolish worry.

We do have some doctors here, but I don't think it's their specialty either.

Why would you argue that I should be scared of you, anyway?

I don't know what you could have done with it.

Because perhaps then you would be convinced that you should be elsewhere and no one would have to worry about your wellbeing here.

The mind is a fascinating thing, one of the few things we have yet to understand at all.

Usually? I wake up, lie awake for a little bit and tell myself how silly it is, then go back to sleep.
